Make Sure Your Radiators Are Compatible Before Ordering

Many customers purchase a radiator or towel rail only a few times in their lives, so determining whether a selected product is compatible with an existing heating installation can be difficult.

Decorative radiators, aluminium radiators and towel rails may have different pipe connection positions, pipe centres and installation requirements.

In properties where the pipework has already been installed, connection positions and measurements can vary considerably from one property to another.

Our Free On-Site Assessment service is being developed to help verify these details before production or final ordering and reduce the risk of installation incompatibility.

Technical Compatibility Before Finalising Your Order

Conditions for Requesting a Free Assessment

• The customer must have received a quotation either from radiva.com or from an authorised Radiva dealer.
• The quotation must include at least 5 decorative radiators.
• The assessment address must be located within one of the cities and districts covered by the service and published on radiva.com.
• An advance payment equal to 10% of the quotation total must have been paid to Radiva or the relevant authorised dealer.

Can the Quotation Change?

Yes. The purpose of the assessment is to check whether the radiators included in your quotation are compatible with the existing installation.

If different product dimensions, a different connection configuration or additional connection components are required, the quotation may be revised accordingly.

The unit prices stated in the initial quotation remain the basis of the offer; however, changes in dimensions or additional connection components may affect the final order total.

When Is the 10% Advance Payment Refunded?

The advance payment is refunded if the assessment shows that the selected radiators cannot be made compatible with the existing installation.

It is also refunded if a radiator with sufficient heating capacity cannot physically fit in the available space.

If you decide not to proceed with the purchase after the assessment, the advance payment will also be refunded.

What If You Do Not Have Existing Radiator Pipework?

If there is currently no radiator pipework in the property and the new installation will be designed around the radiators you plan to purchase, an on-site assessment is generally not required.

After evaluating the heating requirement, our sales team can provide the relevant radiator connection and pipe-centre measurements for your installer.

When Will the Service Be Available?

The Free On-Site Assessment service will be introduced progressively in selected locations.

Once the service becomes available, the covered cities and districts together with application details will be announced on radiva.com.
